The two main variants
Via delle Isole – Venice
From Jesolo, take the ferry to the Lido di Venezia, cycle across the island then cross Pellestrina — a 9 km sandbar with colourful fishermen's houses — to Chioggia. 3 ferries, 1 day, unique scenery.
Via del Gargano – Peschici and Vieste
Three days on Italy's spur: Rodi Garganico, Peschici, Vieste and the Foresta Umbra. The Vieste–Manfredonia stage accumulates 1,225 m of elevation gain — for experienced cyclists or e-bikes only.
